Recruitment for the post of “Project Associate – 1”
under DBT India Alliance/ Wellcome Trust UK – funded project

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for the promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country.

The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following position purely on a contract basis –

Job Name – Project Associate – 1 (PA-1)

Project Name – Mechanisms that orchestrate DNA breakage and repair in meiosis.

Tenure – Initially for a period of one year and extendable for a further period of one more year subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and

Age – Preferably not more than 35 years of the closing date of advertisement.

Fellowship –

1. Rs. 25,000/- + 8% HRA per month.
2. Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA per month based on valid CSIR / UGC-JRF / NET / GATE / Qualified National Level Test conducted by Central Govt. Depts. and their agencies.

Minimum Qualifications – M.Sc in Biology (or) equivalent degree with minimum
55% marks or equivalent grade. A provisional degree at the time of joining is acceptable.

Desirable Qualifications – Candidates with experience in yeast genetics, molecular techniques, and analyzing next-generation sequencing data.
