A walk-in-interview will be held on 18th April 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal for the selection of the following suitable candidates under the externally funded project on a contractual basis –
Project Associate-I
Post I
Name of the Post – Project Associate-I
No. of Posts – 02
Name of the Project – Exploring antimicrobial therapeutics against Multidrug Resistant
enteric bacteria (MDR) causing sepsis from traditional Plants of North East India.
Funding Agency – DBT
Duration of the Project – 02 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Fellowship – Rs. 31,000/- plus 8 percent HRA
Qualification – M.Sc in Biochemistry, Life Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology etc.
Desirable – Having work experience of one year in the relevant field.
Post II
Name of the Post – Project Associate-I
No. of Posts – 02
Name of the Project – Exploration of native legumes and characterization of associated nitrogen fixing microsymbionts in NE India for development of biofertilizers.
Funding Agency – DBT
Duration of the Project – 03 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Fellowship – Rs. 31,000/- plus 8 percent HRA
Qualification – M.Sc in Biochemistry, Life Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular biology, etc
Desirable – Having work experience of one year in the relevant field.
How to Apply –
- The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for a regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
- No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
- The upper age limit for Project Associate will be 35 years (relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms).
- Eligible candidates may appear for a walk-in interview with all original and self-attested copies of the certificate from 09:00 a.m. to 09:30 a.m. on 18th April 2022.
- The Last date of submission of the form (soft copy/hard copy) is on or before 13th April 2022 in the email Id. [email protected] / [email protected].
