Terms and Conditions

• The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months, which may be extended after the satisfactory performance of the incumbent till the termination of the project.
• There is no provision for re-engagement after the termination of the project.
• The selected candidate shall not claim for a regular appointment, as the fellowship is co-terminus with the project.
• The maximum age on the last day of the application as per the advertisement of the applicant is 45 years for PS III, 35 years for PS I/PA-II/JRF, 50 years for PA
  and 40 years for RA.
• No TA /DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Desired Qualifications – Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Biological sciences/ Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences /Molecular Biology equivalent Degree or M.V.Sc/M.Tech Degree in Biotechnology/ Biological sciences/ Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences /Molecular Biology/ Science/ Engineering or Technology.

Experience – Should have experience in research and development and good publications in the peer reviewed journals.

For Post I (b)

Fellowship –  Fellowship will be

• RA I: Rs. 47,000/- +16% HRA
• RA II: Rs. 49,000/- + 16% HRA
• RA III: Rs. 54,000/- + 16% HRA 

Desired Qualifications –

1. Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics/ /Biochemistry/ Life science or equivalent Degree
   OR
   Having 3 years of research design and development experience after M.V.Sc/ M.Tech
   in Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics/ /Biochemistry/ Life science with at least 1 research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
   OR

Experience – In addition to the above, the candidates should have knowledge in cloning and expression of proteins, Next Generation Sequencing NGS) data analysis, bioinformatics, etc

For Post I (c)

Fellowship – Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA for first 2 years, Rs. 35,000/- + 16 % HRA for the third year.

Desired Qualifications – Post Graduate in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Human genetics/ Molecular Biology with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in the professional course in above subjects with NET qualifications.

Experience – In addition to the above, the candidates should have knowledge in cloning and expression of proteins, Next Generation Sequencing NGS) data analysis, bioinformatics, DNA extraction, PCR etc.

For Post I (d)

Fellowship – Rs. 20,000/- + 16% HRA

Desired Qualifications – B.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics/ /Biochemistry/ Life science or equivalent Degree or Three years diplomas in Engineering or Technology.

For Post II
