Salary – INR 35,000/- Plus 24% HRA fixed without any other allowances.
Brief Description About the Project – Long term (2 years) efficacy of indigenously developed micronutrient fortified rice (fortified with iron, vitamin B12 and folic acid) in improving iron stores in school children and their mothers; process standardization to match the physical characteristics of fortified rice kernels (FRK) with
commercial rice varieties and storage stability.Preferred Qualifications – Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Life Sciences. Scholars with National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC, NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE would be given preference.
Roles & Responsibilities –
- Senior Research Fellow will be working closely with the PI, Program manager & RA and carry out specific tasks assigned to him/her such as dietary recall, acceptability studies, data collection, sample collection and other duties at various stages of the project both at Bengaluru office and project area (koppala) including a visit to the site once a month along with the team.
- The Fellow shall also try to complete research projects, publish papers/books, and participate in various conferences, policy advisory forums, and capacity-strengthening training programs.
