POSITION FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

Name of the Project – (AIT-01019-SI) “Screening of Drugs/Inhibitors to inhibit the PI3K-Akt pathway in Bombyx mori for controlling Nuclear polyhedrosis virus infection”.

Tenure of the Project – November 2020 – October 2023 or completion of project whichever is earlier.

Eligible candidates may appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the time and venue given below with bio-data, a passport size photograph, originals and one copy each of educational qualifications from SSLC, PUC/Higher secondary, BSc, MSc, etc proof of date of birth, experience certificate and caste

certificate for SC/ST candidates, along with valid e-mail Id and telephone/mobile numbers and contact details.

2. Time – 09.30 AM (Candidates should reach the venue by 9 AM for verification of documents).
3. Entry of candidates will be permitted only till 12 Noon.

5. Upper age limit – 28 years as of 10/05/2018 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/ OBC/ Physically challenged and women candidates).
6. No TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview.
7. The above-mentioned position is purely temporary on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. Further claim for any post will not be entertained thereafter.

Essential Qualifications – First class [equivalent to 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)] M. Sc in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Sericulture/ Zoology.

Desirable qualifications – Knowledge in DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR and animal cell culture techniques handling.

Emoluments –

• 1st & 2nd year: Rs.15,000/- per month + 18% (HRA); Total emoluments: Rs.17, 700/- per month.
• 3rd year: Rs. 16,000/- month+ 18% (HRA); Total emolument: 18,880/- per month.
