Name of the Project – Elucidation of the functional interactome of legumes with the fungal pathogen Erysiphe pisi as keys to powdery mildew disease resistance. (The project involves extensive protein purification, biochemical and biophysical characterization and structural studies).
Name of the PI – Dr. Divya Chandran, Associate Professor
Name of the Co-PI – Dr. Deepti Jain, Associate Professor (The position will be in Dr. Deepti’s lab)
Duration – Initially for one year, extendable for up to 2 years on annual evaluation.
Age Limit – 35 Years

Essential Qualifications – PhD in Life Sciences. Minimum 60% marks in Masters or equivalent degree. Demonstrated experience (substantiated by first author publication) in protein purification, crystallization and protein structure determination.
Desirable Qualifications – Experience in molecular biology techniques, biochemical and
biophysical techniques, good oral and written communication skills and ability to work
independently are preferred.
