NOTICE
Name of the Post – Junior Research Fellow

Name of the Project – “A metagenomic profiling of tissue biopsies in necrotizing soft tissue infections”.
Age Limit – Below 30 years (5 years relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women candidates)
Duration – The JRF will be appointed initially for one year (on contract). He/she may be considered for extension for the next year (or till the last date of the project) based on the performance review. Those selected shall have no claim for regular appointment under DST-SERBor PGIMER or any other project. The advertised post is temporary and is subject to the availability of funds from DST SERB. No TA/DA will be provided.

Essential Qualifications – Master’s degree or an equivalent degree in Life Sciences from recognized University/Institute with valid CSIR-UGC, NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
Desirable Qualifications – Candidates with knowledge and experience in both
computational biology/ bioinformatics and molecular biology techniques will be preferred.
Remuneration – Rs 31,000/- plus 16 percent HRA per month
