RECRUITMENT OF JRF IN DST-SERB PROJECT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for temporary Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) –Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Core Research Grant (CRG). The position is temporary and the offer will be initially for a period of ONE Year that can be extended further based on the performance and will be co-terminus with the project. If the candidate also fulfils the institute criteria, admission in PhD through NIPER entrance may be considered. The requisite qualification & experience etc. for each project are given below.

Salary – Rs.31000 plus 24 percent HRA (As per DST SERB norms)

Essential Qualifications – M.Sc./M.S/M.Tech in Bioengineering/Biotechnology/ Biomedical
Engineering/Biochemistry/ Biochemical engineering.

Experience Required – Candidates with clear evidence and independent in following –

• Mammalian Cell culture handling, Agarose gel electrophoresis, qRT-PCR, western blot, RNA isolation, etc
• Experience in handling small animals (Rat/ Mouse), histopathological staining, immunohistochemistry, etc. will be considered a plus

Job Profile – In this project, the primary focus is:

1. Molecular biology and mechanistic evaluation of miRNA nanoformulation.
2. Cell line and Preclinical validation in in vivo animal model.
3. Other tasks related to the project.
