Duration – Two years (February 2022 to January 2024).The initial appointment will be for
one year, extendable up to 2 years subject to satisfactory performance of the JRF.

Age Limit – 35 years for men and 40 years for women

How to Apply –

Interested candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned qualifications must submit their applications along with a self-attested copy of all certificates and mark sheets etc. to the Administrative Officer, ICAR, NIHSAD, Anand Nagar

, Bhopal-462022 latest by 11.04.2022. Following scrutiny, the written test and interview will be conducted tentatively in the fourth week of April 2022. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail/mobile phone for which all the candidates are required to give their e-mail IDs and contact phone nos. positively.

Terms & Conditions –

1. Interested Candidates should submit Biodata/application addressed to Administrative
   Officer, ICAR- NffiSAD, Anand Nagar, Bhopal-462022 along with self-attested copies of all certificates of educational qualifications mark sheets/PDC/Degree Certificate/ experience etc. and a recent passport size photograph in the format enclosed herewith so as to reach NIHSAD latest by 11.04.2022. The post applied for should be mentioned clearly on the envelope. The soft copy (.PDF file) of the duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of all certificates of educational qualifications, mark sheets/PDC/Degree Certificate/experience etc. can also be sent by e-mail to Administrative Officer ([email protected]).
2. The engagement of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be on a purely temporary basis and the selected candidates shall not have any right to claim for regular appointment under ICAR NIHSAD, Bhopal (M.P) and his/her engagement will be terminated after January 2024, if an extension of the project is not sanctioned by the SERB (Science & Engineering Research Board, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India) without any notice. The ICAR NIHSAD, Bhopal will hold no responsibility for payment of salary/ regular appointment etc. after expiry/termination of the project.
3. Candidates who wish to appear for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) are requested to submit their applications in the prescribed format.
4. Original Degree/Provisional Degree certificate, mark sheet of Qualifying academic degree and higher qualification (if any) and experience certificate (if any) will have to be produced at the time of interview.
5. No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for attending the interview.
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates. The decision of the Director,
   NIHSAD, Bhopal will be final in selection.
7. Only those who are interested to serve up to January 2024, may apply.

Note: Candidates not providing proof of original degree, provisional degree certificates as per the essential qualification mentioned will be rejected and will not be considered for short listing for appearing in the interview.

Minimum Essential Qualifications –

M.Sc. degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Virology/Molecular Biology/ qualifications Biochemistry with wet-lab dissertation work (or minimum 6 months experience) on animal/ human diseases and having valid NET qualification (UGC/CSIR/ICAR/ICMR/GATE/JAM/JEST /JGEEBILS/Biotechnology Eligibility test and test conducted in bioinformatics by Bioinformatics National Consortium)
OR
M. Tech Degree in Biotechnology with 4 years of B.Tech Degree with wet-lab dissertation work (or minimum 6 months experience) on animal /human diseases.

Preference – Candidates with prior experience in animal cell culture, and animal handling/ experiments to test vaccine efficacy, however, it is not mandatory.

Emoluments – Rs. 31000/= PM + HRA ( as per norms)
