Applications are to be filled ONLINE. The online link for submission of the application is available from 22-03-2022 and the last date is 11-04-2022. Candidates must fill online application form at www.niab.org.in. Candidates are advised to fill out the online application form in sufficient time before the last date to avoid last-minute technical issues. Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email and interviewed by the duly constituted selection committee online. Original documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience certificates are required to be submitted at the time of joining.
No need to send a hard copy. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
For Post I
Eligibility –
- MSc (Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology, Bioinformatics)/Post
Graduate Degree in Veterinary Science (MVSc) with NET qualification or, - Non-NET-qualified candidates with a post-graduate degree in the above-mentioned subjects can also apply; they will be paid as per DST guidelines.
Desired Experience – Candidate with experience in Molecular biology/Genomics/Genome
sequencing/Animal Genetics and breeding/ Nanotechnology and having expertise to work
with the large animal models will be given preference.
Fellowship amount – Rs.31,000/-PM plus 24 percent HRA as per the DST guidelines.
For Post II
Eligibility – B.Sc. (Life sciences/Agricultural Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology), Intermediate with Diploma in animal husbandry or veterinary sciences.
Desired Experience – Candidate with experience in large animal handling, large animal
breeding and management of goats with the ability to speak English, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu will be given preference.
Fellowship amount – Rs.20,000/-PM plus 24 percent HRA as per the DST guidelines.
