Job Description – The candidate is expected to manage ongoing research projects as well as develop new research proposals, manage the facilities, assist research groups and train research students in their respective fields.
Academic Qualifications–
Position 1 – M.Sc. in Biotechnology with Ph. D in the relevant field and post-doctoral research experience in Biology of abiotic stress tolerance in crop and plant species
Position 2 – M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ with Ph. D in relevant field and post-doctoral research experience in Plant-microbe interaction and microbiome for enhancing plant and soil health
Position 3 – M.Sc. in Agriculture/genetics and Plant breeding/ Life sciences and Ph. D in a relevant field with post-doctoral research experience and knowledge of bioinformatics.
Desirable qualification –
Demonstrated capability in an academic environment and in managing research good communication skills oral and written (to develop competitive research proposals) and the aptitude to interact with other research groups. Candidates with experience in Agriculture fieldwork will be preferred.
