SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY –

The NPI/PMOps Supervisor ensures the performance of the team by reaching the agreed service level and Key Performance metrics. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To manage the overall activities of NPI/PMops activities. The supervisor plays a key role in goal setting, team members’ development, and assisting in the administration of performance evaluations.

Develop the metrics to measure the team and individual performance. This role is highly motivated, result-oriented, organized, and flexible enough to handle a different variety of tasks and adapt to various business needs and requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the Research Solution business – NPI /PMOps services and ensure team’s support across the business in alignment with the NPI/PMOps strategy
• Manage the NPI /PMOps team in terms of people and processes as determined by the stakeholders (US Management) and SBS management
• Ensure that the team delivers the set target with desired quality standards.
• Maintenance and monthly reporting of team scorecard and activities.
• Support and initiate process improvements
• Take measures to improve team engagement.
• Establish and maintain KPIs as determined by NPI/PMops management
• Explore new opportunities and contribute to organizational growth
• Be an expert in all the business deliverables
• Manage quality and service of the deliverables as per the ISO requirements – QMS ISO 9001:2015 and SMS ISO 20000-1:2018 standards

Training Needs: Identify any training requirements for the team as part of their IDP and facilitate the same.

Stakeholder Management:

• Ability to plan and set priorities
• Well versed with ISO Audit and working on Audit findings

People Management:

• Ensure employees have the critical training to perform jobs
• Resolve employee issues, concerns, and problems
• Develop and implement staffing plan, and integrate new team members
• Promote collaboration & remove obstacles to teamwork
• Conduct regular and effective team meetings etc.

Continuous Process improvement:

• Ensure implementation of the relevant Quality Management Systems
• Ensure Compliance (Data privacy/confidentiality norms)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Who you are:

Education: Postgraduate in Life Sciences (Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology) from a reputed University.

Experience:

• 3-5 Years People/Team management
• 5+ Years in Chemical Industry

Technical Skills / Competencies:

• Chemistry/ Biochemical Knowledge – Proficiency and functional command expected over Life science subject
• Computer literate; able to learn and use Company’s IT systems
• Understanding of roles and responsibilities of Team Members
• Office 365 – Intermediary proficiency
• Excellent knowledge in ERP systems (Lotus Notes, SAP, Oracle)
• Ability to generate/extract Palantir, Aera, BI reports
• Microsoft office- Advance Proficiency expected: Should be able to make the best use of MS office, excel to create Data Analysis, reports, PowerPoint presentations
