Notification for the selection of Junior Project Fellow

Name of the Post – Junior Project Fellow

No. of Posts – 01

Name of the Project – “Habitat distribution modeling and reinforcement of two threatened
trees in the Kerala region of the Western Ghats for the Improvement of their
conservation status”

Duration of the project – 2 year

Salary/Fellowship – Rs 20000/- per month

Essential – MSc Botany with minimum 60% Marks, Proven working experience in habitat
distribution modelling/ plant exploration/ plant tissue culture/ germplasm maintenance.

Age – 36 yrs (as of 1st January 2022)

Interested candidates may appear for walk-in-interview on 8th April 2022, 10AM at JNTBGRI, Palode.

Terms & Conditions –

1. The post is temporary and for two years.
2. Candidates are required to submit self-attested copies of all the Certificates in support of
   their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, scheduled caste/scheduled
   tribe/OBC etc. The original certificates shall be produced for verification before the
   interview. Those who are not producing any valid document as proof of their qualification
   will not be considered for a walk-in interview.
3. Candidates should bring a copy of their MSc dissertation, detailed bio-data affixing a recent passport size photograph, testimonials, etc.
4. The candidates attending the interview should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility
   conditions.
5. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
