- Those in employment or pursuing Ph.D, must submit a ‘No Objection Certificate ‘ from the employer/Ph.D. Supervisor.
For Post I
Remuneration – Rs. 31,000/-plus 24 percent HRA
Essential Qualification – Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any of the following
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIRUGCNET
including Lectureshipand GATE
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Department and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable Qualification – Masters’s degree m Microbiology/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology or related areas of Life Sciences and prior research project experience.
For Post II
Remuneration – Rs. 35,000/-plus 24 percent HRA
Essential Qualification – Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience.
Desirable Qualification – At least one first-author research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal. Masters’ degree in Microbiology/ Zoology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology or related areas of Life Sciences and prior research project experience in areas related to the project.
