Walk-in-Interview

Name of the Post – Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Posts – 01

Name of the Project – “Identification of quorum-sensing inhibitory, anti-biofilm and anti-virulence plant essential oils and components for developing novel intervention against drug-resistant microbes”.

Age – 30 years for males and 35 years for females with relaxation to SC/ST and OBC as per rules.

Duration of the Project – Likely up to Feb., 2025

The engagement is purely temporary on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. The engagement will be liable for termination at any time in case of the unsatisfactory performance of the candidate. There will be no provision of absorption /re-employment in DST, ICAR or ICAR-IVRI on termination of the project.

Candidates fulfilling the required qualification may appear directly for the “Walk-in-Interview” scheduled on 30 March 2022 from 11:00 AM onwards.

Candidates appearing for interviews should reach the Division of Livestock Products Technology, ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar (Bareilly) by 11.00 AM. Candidates attending the interview are required to bring recent complete biodata (containing contact details, qualification, and experience), NET/GATE certificate, research publications, original certificates, one photocopy of all the certificates and two passport size photographs. The interested candidates may send a soft copy of their applications with brief biodata (in pdf format) to the Principal Investigator on Email: [email protected].

Note: No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and no separate interview letter will be issued

Emoluments – Rs. 31,000/- PM + HRA (as per Central Govt. norms).

Essential Qualification –

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including
lecturership (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE,
DOS, DRDO, MHRD. ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc

Desirable Qualification – Working experience in microbiological techniques, molecular
biology techniques, and/or cell culture techniques. Knowledge of computer applications (web search, data compilation), report writing, manuscript preparation etc. and publications in journals of national and international repute.
