Name of the Project – “Genetic and Functional Characterization of L. donovani isolates causing Atypical Cutaneous Leishmaniasis in the newer and understudied endemic state of Himachal Pradesh”

Project duration – 2 Years

Engagement Period – Initially for a period of one year, further extendable subject to extension of the project, satisfactory work and availability of funds in the project head.

Age – Below 28 years as on date of interview (Relaxation in age is permissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India rules).

Emoluments – Rs 31,000/- per month + HRA (as per norms)

Essential Qualification –

• M.Sc./M.tech in Life Sciences/Microbiology/Zoology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Medicine or related sciences with at least 55% marks for GN/OBC (50% for SC/ST/PH) from UGC recognized University/ Institute
• Qualified CSIR-UGC-NET/GATE/NET-LS exams for JRF.

Desirable Qualification – Work experience involving human samples, animal studies, cell culture experiments, molecular biology is desirable but not limiting.
