Job Title – Intern Computational Biology
Qualification – B.Tech / BE / M.Tech/M.Sc. in Bioinformatics
Duration – 6+ months
Job Location – Bengaluru
Preferred Location – Bengaluru
Mode of Internship – Off Line, Unpaid
Responsibilities –
- Understanding the project requirement
- Assist team members to deliver the results/reports on time
- Actively contribute to the preparation of report, presentation, and scientific publications
- Conduct an independent literature search to extract meaningful information
- Represent the complex data in a structured manner with proper analysis and visualization
- Flexible in working on different technologies
Required Skill Set –
- Good knowledge of the protein-ligand interactions
- Knowledge of protein structure, function and dynamics
- Python/Shell scripting is a must
- Proficient in small-molecule docking with Autodock, Autodock Vina
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work with both in silico and in vitro scientist in a collaborative manner
Desirable Skill Set –
- Experience in Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence will be an added advantage
- Molecular dynamics simulation in Gromacs/OpenMM
- Introductory knowledge of Quantum chemistry
