Name of the Project – “Risk and protective genetic factors for

dementia in the Indian population and their interaction with vascular risk factors using an integrated genome wide approach”, funded by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India

Investigator – Dr. Ganesh Chauhan. Department of Genetics and Genomics. RIMS, Ranchi.

Upper Age Limit – 35

Monthly Salary –

• Rs. 31,000 + HRA for candidates who have passed any national level exam conducted by the Central Government or its agencies like NET (CSlR/UGC) including Lectureship. etc.
• Rs. 25.000 + HRA for candidates who have not passed any national level exam.

Essential Qualification –

Master’s degree in science. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (like BTech Biotech) or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Bioinformatics and knowledge of basic programming in C ++, Python. R or other relevant computer languages.

3. Age relaxation may be considered for deserving candidates. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per the Govt. of Jharkhand rules.
4. The number of posts may increase or decrease at the time of the interview.
5. During or alter the appointment if the performance of the appointee is not found satisfactory by the competent authority. the appointment can be terminated immediately any time without assigning any reason.
6. The decision of the Investigator shall be final.
7. Any dispute will be addressed under the Jurisdiction or Ranchi court only.
