Recruitment of Contractual Staff in ICMR funded project
Position Name – Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Name of the Project – “Etiological profile of viral gastroenteritis in U-5 children reporting to different strata of health care facilities in the immediate post-Rota virus vaccination period.”
Name of the Principal Investigator – Dr Debasis Biswas
Age limitation – 28 years
Age Concession – Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates,
Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and ex-servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from
time to time. Age concession to the extent of services rendered in the research projects will
also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons. The effective date for fulfilling
eligibility criteria (including qualification and experience etc), upper age limit will be the date of the walk-in-interview.
Tenure – 1 year; subject to continuation, depending on the performance of the candidate
and continuation of the project.
Duration of the project – 3 years

Selection Venue – Department of Microbiology, Ground Floor, Medical College Building,
AIIMS Bhopal. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written examination.
Date and Time of Walk-in-Interview – 24/11/2021 at 11 pm in the domains of eligibility
qualification. The Candidates shall report at 09:30 am to the Principal Investigator at
the selection venue.
The candidates shall report with
a. Duly filled application form
b. Self-attested photocopies of proof of date of birth (class 10th certificate/ school
leaving certificate), eligibility qualification mark-sheets, degrees, experience
certificate, caste certificate, qualifying degree registration with the statutory council (if
applicable) and other relevant testimonials.

Consolidated Salary – 31,000/- plus HRA as applicable
Essential Qualifications – M.Sc./ M.V.Sc./ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Life Sciences (Zoology/ Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Biochemistry).
Desirable – Expertise in Molecular Biology techniques.
