Conditions:
- The applicants chosen for the above posts will certainly be on contract for one year or
period of the project whichever is shorter, at a time. - No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
- Candidates may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/ PH as well as attach documentary proof of the same.
- No TA/DA will certainly be paid for attending the interview if called for.
- Apart from sending applications in the prescribed format given below, candidates

Educational Qualification:
- Senior Research Fellow: M.Sc./M.Tech degree in any area of Life Sciences with a good
academic record. M.Sc. candidates should have qualified for any National Level Eligibility
test such as (NET/GATE etc) for applying for the above position. The candidates should have two years of research experience. - Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc./M.Tech degree in any area of Life Sciences with a good
academic record. M.Sc. candidates should have qualified any National Level Eligibility
Test such as (NET/GATE etc) for applying for the above position.
Job Description & Desired Knowledge:
- Senior Research Fellow (P): Candidates should have Hands-on experience in
molecular biology (cloning, RNA isolation, quantitative real-time PCR, western blotting),
cell culture, microbiology is desirable. Candidates with experience in handling
C.elegans, Drosophila or other model organisms will be preferred. - Junior Research Fellow (P): Candidates should have Hands-on experience in
molecular biology (cloning, RNA isolation, quantitative real-time PCR, western blotting),
cell culture, microbiology is desirable. Candidates with experience in handling
C.elegans, Drosophila or other model organisms will be preferred.
Emoluments: The selected candidates may be placed in any of the below categories
depending upon qualification & experience.
- Senior Research Fellow (P): 35,000/- consolidated per month + 24 percent HRA (As per DST OM dated 30.01.2019).
- Junior Research Fellow (P): 31,000/- consolidated per month + 24 percent HRA (As per DST OM dated 30.01.2019).
