Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi, is premier tertiary care that emphasis on Research & higher education. It has a ‘Core Research” department that works towards translation from Bench-to-Bedside innovations. The faculty members of the Department of Research have several government grants that are recognized guides for PhD at Jamia Hamdard/DU/ Manipal University (MAHE) / Amity University.

The Institute invites applications from highly motivated students having a consistently good academic record and are keen to pursue research in the field of CANCER & STEM CELL.

Name of the Project: “Mesenchymal Stem Cell – Derived Exosomes as Next Generation Nano-Carriers loaded with siRNA for Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma” [DBT funded].

Name of the Principal Investigator: Dr Sangeeta Choudhury

Project Duration: Appointment will be made

on a contract basis and extended upon satisfactory progress.

Essential Qualifications: Candidates having Postgraduate degree (M.E./M.Tech. OR MSc) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology with at least 60% or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and possess 2 years of proven research experience (as per DBT SRF norms, candidates should possess 2 years of experience in research after post-graduation). Proficiency in computers is essential.

Desirable: Previous training and experience to conduct experiments involving Molecular and Cell Biology / Immunology – based assays/cell – culture handling. Candidates desirous to do PhD will be preferred.
