Position Name: Project Associate – I

Project Name: Biodiversity and ecosystem functions in understanding coastal integrity
through observation and simulations (BEFCI).
Tenure: Six Months
*Upper Age Limit (Years): 35 Years *Upper Age Limit not exceeding as on the last date of receiving the applications i.e. 29th August 2021.

b) Educational Qualification Certification as mentioned in the advertisement essential qualification/ Semester Mark sheet or Final Mark sheet is mandatory where it shows Geology subject was studied. In addition to this, Degree Award Certification or Provisional Award Certification. Percentage or CGPA should clearly be displayed on any type of among the certificate. If the certification doesn’t have proper percentage/ CGPA/ Grade after that the application may not be taken into consideration.
c) Date of Birth Proof (Any kind of valid certificate having DoB such as SSLC, HSC, DoB Certificate, etc).
d) Category certification (in case of SC/ST/OBC/ PWD applicants). (If applicable).
e) NET/GATE/SET/ Any other Equivalent exam qualification certificate (IF applicable).
f) Experience certificate (If there is any type of or If applicable).
g) Other certifications if any kind of.

Mode of Selection:
If the number of applications are more, then the selection committee will fix the criteria to shortlist the applicants. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for the interview. Selection will certainly be done on the basis of online interview through either Skype/Google Meet/Zoom or any other suitable software, as decided by the competent authority.
Applications received after the due date (29th August 2021) will be rejected. The shortlisted applicants will certainly be informed via e-mail/website.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. Biotechnology
Desirable Qualifications & Job Requirement: Working experience in any R&D
Institutes/organisations. The selected candidates will be required to carry out work on
microbiological and metagenomic sample collection in estuarine/coastal areas, analysis, processing of data and preparation of reports related to projects.
