Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) from life sciences background for the SERB funded ad-hoc project entitled “Deregulated Proteome Analysis of Lymph Node Metastatic Gallbladder Carcinoma to Identity Novel Therapeutic Targets” under Principal Investigator, Dr Poonam Gautam, Scientist D, National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi.

Duration of contract: The appointment will be made on consolidated pay originally for a period of 12 months, likely to be extended on the basis of their performance for next year.
Age: Upper age limit is 28 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC persons according to Govt of India rules.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- The duration of the appointment will certainly be initially for a duration of one year and is likely to be extended further on annual basis up to a max period of three years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier subject to satisfactory performance of the applicant.
- Those applicants who are working in Govt organizations/Public undertaking/ autonomous bodies should provide a No Objection Certificate from his/her employer. It might be noted that there is no provision for a Hostel facility at the National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi.
- Merely fulfilling the essential criteria does not qualify for the selection. The applications received will certainly be screened as well as the shortlisted candidates will certainly be intimidated via e-mail provided as well as the interview will be held via video conferencing e.g. zoom meeting. Fellowship: Rs 31,000/- plus 24 percent HRA.
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 60% marks or above and NET/ GATE qualification.
Desirable: Experience in cancer biology
