Project Title: Influence of drought stress on ribosomes and protein synthesis and
understanding the functional relevance of Ribosomal Protein L10 in rice.

Duration: Originally for one year and may be extended based on performance.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech in life sciences/biotechnology/molecular
biology/ biochemistry /bioinformatics/genomics and any National level JRF eligibility test such as NET, GATE, etc. qualified.
Desirable Qualifications: Practical knowledge of plant molecular biology, biochemistry
techniques are necessary. A candidate who has 1-year research experience working in
a relevant area with expertise in plant molecular biology, tissue culture will be preferred.
The candidate should be hardworking and a team player with good interpersonal skills.
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA pm as per DBT guidelines.
