Emoluments: Rs. 51,000/- per month HRA
Essential Qualification:
First-class Masters degree in life sciences with four years of experience in relevant field
Or
Second class Masters degree in life sciences with PhD with four years of experience in a pertinent field.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Qualification and Experience
- Working knowledge in the area of disease surveillance and project management
- Excellent communication skills: scientific writing as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals as well as official communications.
- Knowledge of literature review utilizing reference managers, data handling, analysis, interpretation and report writing.
- Working knowledge of statistical software including SPSS/Stata/R.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
Nature of Duties:
- Coordinate with field site, PI/Co-PIs/Funding Agency/Other Stakeholders
- M&E visits to MRHRU, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu
- Data Analysis, preparation of reports as well as manuscripts.
- Aid PI in various project related activities
- Any other work assigned by the Director/PI/Co-PI/ Superior officer
For Post II
Emoluments: Rs. 32,000/- pm
Essential Qualification:
BSc Statistics, BSc Biostatistics from a recognized university with 5 years of work experience from a recognized institution.
OR.
Master degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics/ Public Health.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Qualification and Experience
- PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics.
- Experienced in statistical analysis using SPSS/ Stata/EpiInfo/R etc.
- Experience in online data collection/management.
- Experience conducting/coordinating large scale biomedical research studies/community-level health surveys.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Good communication abilities (scientific publications and official communications).
Nature of Duties:
- Coordinating field-level data collection.
- Monitoring and also validating case report forms daily.
- Managing data collected/generated from different sources.
- Performing data analysis utilizing statistical software.
- Writing manuscripts.
- Prep work of progress reports periodically.
- Perform any other work assigned by the PI/CoPI/Supervisory Officer/Director.
