SwarnaJayanti Fellowships Scheme 2020-21

Government of India had instituted a scheme entitled “SwarnaJayanti Fellowships” to
commemorate India’s fiftieth year of Independence. Under this scheme, a chosen number of young scientists, with an outstanding track record, are provided special aid and also support to enable them to pursue research in frontier areas of science and technology. The fellowship is scientist specific and not institution-specific, very selective as well as has close academic monitoring.

Scientists chosen for the award will be enabled to pursue unfettered research with freedom as well as flexibility in terms of expenditure as approved in the research plan. The project ought to contain innovative research idea as well as it ought to have the potential of making an impact on R&D in the discipline.
