Engagement Period (JRF): Originally for a period of one year, further extendable based on the extension of project, satisfactory work & conduct and availability of funds in the project head.

Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. Life Sciences with at least 60% marks for GEN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PH) from UGC recognized University/ Institute.
- Candidates must have CSIR-UGC-NET/GATE/NET-LS.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in fly pushing/Behavioural Neurogenetics.
Fellowship: Rs 31,000/- per month plus HRA (as per the SERB guidelines).
