Name of the Project: “Pathogenesis of Osteoarthritis: Integrated approach based on transcriptome, proteome, micro RNAome analysis during progression of knee osteoarthritis”

Age Limitation: Below 30 years (5 years of relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ PH/Women candidates).

Tenure: The tenure of the project is till 17th June 2021.

• Date, time as well as the venue of the interview: 12th Jan 2021 at 2:30 P.M, Office of H.O.D, Department of Biochemistry, PGlMER, Chandigarh.
• The competent authority may select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the applicant as well as reserves the right to relax any of the qualification( s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee. The advertised post is totally on a short-term basis and co-terminus with the project. Those selected will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR or PGIMER or any other project. No separate letter will certainly be sent for an interview as well as No TA/DA will certainly be paid.

For Post I

Eligibility: Grad in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology from a recognized university with 3 years of research work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology from a recognized university.

Desirable: Experience in molecular biology techniques and knowledge of various computer applications, data analysis as well as bioinformatics.

Remuneration: Rs. 32,350/- pm fixed (According to ICMR sanction letter).

For Post II

Eligibility: Master’s degree in Life Sciences with any kind of National Eligibility Tests (eg. CSIR-UGC, NET, GATE etc) or any type of National level exam.

Desirable: Experience in molecular biology as well as proteomics techniques.

Remuneration: Rs 31,000/- plus 16 percent HRA monthly (As per ICMR sanction letter).
