RECRUITMENT NOTICE FOR SCIENTIFIC POSITIONS

ICMR welcomes on-line applications up to 5th December 2020 till 5:30 PM to fill out the vacancies of 42 Scientist’ E’ (Medical), 01 Scientist ‘E’ (Non-Medical), 16 Scientist ‘D’ (Medical) and also 06 Scientist ‘D’ (Non-Medical) from Indian Citizens for appointment on regular basis under Direct Recruitment with all India transfer liability under the Council.

Post I

Name of the Post: Scientist-E (Non-Medical)

Number of positions: One

Upper Age limit: 50 years

Name of the Post: Scientist-D (Non-Medical)

Number of positions: Six

Upper Age limit: 45 years

Fee:

Application Fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) is needed. SC / ST / Women/ PWD/ EWS applicants are exempted from application fee. Application Fee is to be paid by candidates through online web link given up

the application. Application fees when paid will certainly not be reimbursed under any situations.

How to apply:

i) Candidates should apply online on https://recruit.icmr.org.in. A separate application needs to be submitted for every post, with the required application fee.

ii) Following self-attested documents are required to be uploaded together with the application:
a) Proof of Date of Birth.
b) Educational qualifications.
c) Experience.

Other Conditions:

1. Application ought to be submitted together with on-line application fees. The application’s hard copy need not be sent out to ICMR HQs.

4. 5. Any outside influence (political or otherwise) brought in by a candidate or his/her family members, will disqualify him/her.
6. Any matter, for which no specific instruction has actually been given, shall be decided by ICMR as well as the decision shall be last as well as binding on the applicants.
7. Any further detail/communication shall only be displayed on ICMR web site. Candidates are requested to regularly visit ICMR Web site, for any updates.
8. Any dispute with regard to the recruitment against the advertisement will be under the jurisdiction of New Delhi Court.
9. Shortlisting Criteria:
   a) In the first instance, all the candidates that fulfil minimal eligibility in respect of age, educational qualifications and also experience (wherever needed) shall be short-listed.b) If the number of such shortlisted applicants are high and it is not possible to call all of them for an interview, then the ICMR shall further shortlist the applicants, on the basis of higher experience in the relevant fields or applicants with higher educational qualification, as the case can be and as decided by the appointing authority i.e. DG, ICMR.

Emoluments: Pay Level-13 : Rs.1,23,100-Rs.2, 15,900 (pre-revised Grade pay-Rs.8700/-)

Essential Qualification: First Class Post Graduate degree with PhD from a recognized University in Biotechnology with six years of R&D / teaching/ working ) experience in a Govt / Public Sector / Private Institutions.

Emoluments: Pay Level-12 Rs. 78,800-Rs.2,09,200 (pre-revised Grade pay-Rs.7600/-)

Essential Qualification: First Class Post Graduate degree with PhD from a recognized University in any of the preferable subjects mentioned below with four years of R&D/ teaching/ working experience in a Govt. / Public Sector/Private Institutions:-

1. Sociology
2. Social Work
3. Psychology
4. Biology/Bioscience
5. Biotechnology
6. Botany
7. Bioinformatics
