IISER Bhopal is taking part in the COVID-19 testing activity via the RT-PCR in order to
cope-up with the current emergencies for scaling-up the capacity of COVID-19 testing.
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the short-term temporary positions for the COVID-19 testing centre.

Name of the Post: Project Associate 1

No. of Posts: 09

Period: 3 months (extendable based upon the requirement).

Age Limit: Max age is 32 years for general applicants at the time of application (to be relaxed by 5 years for SC as well as ST applicants and also persons with a physical disability).

Interested applicants need to email their application by 1st August 2020 to [email protected]. The shortlisted applicants will certainly be sent a link by email for the online interview on 5th August. The online interview will

be conducted on 7th August. The chosen candidate will be notified by e-mail and expected to join within 7 days.

Salary:

(i) Rs. 31,000 + accommodation on campus for candidates that have passed a) National Eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET consisting of lectureship (LS) or GATE
or
(ii) 25000+ accommodation on campus for others who do not fall under (i) above.
or
Applicants with 2 years of research experience might be considered for the Project
Associate II position with the following salary.
(iii) Rs. 35,000 + accommodation on campus for applicants who have passed a) National Eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET consisting of lectureship (LS) or GATE
or.
(iv) 28000+ accommodation on campus (for outstation candidates) for others who do not fall under (iii) above.

Essential Qualification: Applicants ought to have a masters degree in Biological.
Sciences/Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology or related subjects.

Desirable: Prior experience in RNA isolation/RT-PCR/virology will be preferred.
