Name of the Project: DHR-ICMR: Health Technology Assessment Project under Resource Centre/Hub at NCDIR, Bengaluru. (Upto 31-03-2022)

How to Apply:

1. Departmental candidates or candidates working/have worked on projects of ICMR Institutes/Centre’s shall be given age relaxation to a maximum of 5 (5) years or a completed months/year based upon earlier project service, whichever is less, they meet the essential qualification as well as experience prescribed for the post, with a view to providing the opportunity to compete with various other candidates.
2. Age relaxation against post earmarked for reserved applicants will be based on Govt. of India Norms. No relaxation will be admitted unreserved posts.
3. Qualification and also experience should be in pertinent discipline/field and from a reputed institution/ organization recognized by pertinent authority. The experience will count from the date of completion of minimum educational qualification.
4. Submission of incorrect or false information throughout the process of personal discussion as well as/ or video conferencing shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
5. Mere satisfying the essential qualification/ experience does not assure selection.
6. Applicants employed in Govt. Service/ Semi Govt. Autonomous Bodies of State/Central Govt. should submit a “No Objection Certification” from their employer.
7. Above post is contractual for the duration offered as well as may/ or may not be renewed based on satisfactory performance and requirement.

9. This post is purely temporary and co-terminable with the project. Employees will certainly be engaged on a consolidated pay basis.
10. The appointment will be made on the basis of results of personal discussion as well as/ or video conferencing mode.
11. The chosen applicant will not have any right to an insurance claim for regular appointment in the Council on the basis of contract appointment.

Consolidated Salary Per Month: Rs. 57,660/-

Essential Qualifications: Ist class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/Statistics from a recognized university with 4 years’ experience. OR PhD in Life Sciences/Statistics/ Biostatistics.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Added Post-doctoral research/teaching experience in pertinent subjects in recognized Institute( s).
2. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/ Data Management.
3. Knowledge of statistical related computer software like SPSS, EPI-INFO, EPI-ST AT & application packages like MS Office.

Job Description:

• To undertake data monitoring and visualization of data with Quality checks.
• To undertake data analysis making use of modern statistical tools, for implementation of this project or any other related work according to requirement.

Consolidated Salary Per Month: Rs. 57,660/-

Essential Qualifications:

1. Masters’ Degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology plus PhD in the corresponding subject from a recognized University.
2. Three years R and D/ teaching experience in the pertinent subject after PhD.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in statistical analysis as well as data management.

Job Description:

• Will help in write up of protocols, literature review, data analysis.
• Coordinate interaction with stakeholders.
