ICMR-Regional Medical Research Centre, Bhubaneswar under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Department of Health Research, Government of India engaged in advanced biomedical research invites applications from Indian nationals for PhD programs in the following research subjects.

1. Public Health
2. Biotechnology
3. Microbiology
4. Zoology/ Life Science
5. Anthropology

Essential Qualification:

1. Applicants must have passed their M.Sc./ MPH/MA or equivalent qualification (Public Health/ Biotechnology/Microbiology/Anthropology/ Sociology/Zoology/ Life Science/etc.) from any UGC identified University with a minimum of 60% marks (or comparable grade point).
2. Should have qualified any National level fellowship like ICMR-JRF or DBT-JRF or DBTBINC-JRF or CSIR/UGC-JRF or UGC-RGNF or DST Inspired, or Odisha DST etc.

Fellowship: The fellowship, as well as various other emoluments, will be according to the standards of the financing agencies.

Application procedure: No application fees will be charged.

Interested as well as qualified candidates may fill-up the prescribed application form as available in RMRC website (www.rmrcbbsr.gov.in). Duly filled-up application along with self-attested copies of all pertinent certifications must be sent to the “Director, ICMR- Regional Medical Research Centre, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar-751023”. The application should get to the Institute on or before 2nd April 2020. Applications received after due day will not be accepted. The envelope ought to be super scribed with “Application for PhD Program in ________________________”.

Applicants have to mention clearly ONE of the research subjects for which they are applying. Candidates interested to apply for greater than one subject ought to send separate applications for every research subject.

List of candidates selected for the interview will be communicated as well as also published in the Institute web site (www.rmrcbbsr.gov.in).
