INC, the CRO based in Rayleigh after a merger with fellow CRO InVentiv early last month, now has set eyes on new horizons with plans to set up two offices at Japan.

The two offices are being set up in Osaka and Tokyo. The offices will initially employ of English-speaking management and staff in order to offer the company’s clients another locale in the region. Prior to the opening, the company has partnered with local CROs to conduct numerous trials for over two decades there.

The new Osaka office intends to expand the Company’s presence in the Asia/Pacific region to provide its customers with expanded access to Japan, the world’s second largest pharmaceutical market and a valued destination for regional and global clinical trials. The Company’s presence in Japan will also be supported by an office in the Shinagawa ward in Tokyo.

“Our continued expansion in Tokyo demonstrates our commitment to becoming the global ‘CRO of Choice’ within this vibrant pharmaceutical market for regional and global clinical trials. Our employees provide global expertise within our therapeutically aligned delivery model while providing local experience and knowledge of Japan’s regulatory, healthcare and cultural environments. Our continued expansion in the country is making a strong contribution to INC’s overall growth.” said
