Later, histamine and other higher authority chemicals flood the body, triggering a bunch of effects; they call upon other cells and chemical compounds to get involved in the same program. Next, the blood vessels dilate and tissues inflate, mucus is produced and muscles are contracted, which then leads to a wet, tightened airway.
