Walk-in-interview will be conducted for two PROJECT ASSISTANTS under Research Extension Centre. Balijan under Central Silk Board (Ministry of Textiles, Government of India) approved project under this Institute. Details of the advertisement are available below :
A walk in Interview will be held for the post or Project Assistant (02 Nos) under North East Region Textile Pormotion Scheme (NERTPS) sponsored by Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, currently being implemented in the State of Arunachal Pradesh.

Qualification :
a) Essential : B.Sc (Bio Science or related discipline)
b) Desirable : Post Graduate Diploma in Scriculture
Age Limit : Not more than (as on the date of interview) 28 years with relaxation as per Govt rules.
Remuneration : per month Rs.15,000/- (Consolidated)

Important Points :
- Relaxation of age limit as per govt rules (5 years for scheduled castes/Scheduled Tribes/OBC. physically handicapped and female applicants).
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the interview.
- Selected candidates are required to undertake extensive tour of sericulture areas/farmers practicing mulberry sericulture in the region as required under the project.
The appointment will initially be ci period of one year onl 1. J-Iov,1ever, based strictly on performance only, the appointment may be extended beyond one year, if the project gets extended. - Further claim for any post will not be entertained thereafter.
