Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a DBT funded research project entitled “Delineating the DNA-binding function of Dock180” in the laboratory of Dr. Malini Laloraya at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

Duration – Two years or till termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
Age – Below 28 years as on 15th April, 2017.
Fellowship –
- 25,000 + 20% HRA per month for M.Sc. Degree holders who have qualified NET/GATE (with valid certificate) or Graduates in Professional Degree courses.
- M.Sc. degree holders who do not have NET/GATE certification will be eligible for 16,000/- + 20% HRA per month.
Qualifications –
- Essential – The candidate must have a Master’s Degree in any area of Biological Sciences with atleast 70% marks at Master’s level. Preference will be given to those who qualified NET/GATE exam. Willingness to work with experimental animals and must have good communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in animal handling and cell culture work.
- Desirable – Experience in surgical protocols including in utero gene silencing in rodents will be desirable.
