Research Associate (RA) / Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions are available in DBT-ICGEB Centre for Advanced Bioenergy Research. These positions are available initially for the period of one year. Kindly, note that all these positions are temporary project positions whose duration is only for the tenure of the DBT-funded project.
Position 1
RA position : Minimum qualification- PhD
Title of the project : Metabolic Engineering for Biofuels

Required minimum qualifications and experience for RA:
Ph.D. in biotechnology, life sciences or other relevant field. Candidates with strong molecular biology background with fermentation technique along with the handling of yeast and bacterial cultures will be preferred.
Position 2
JRF position: Minimum qualification M.Sc.
Title of the project : Metabolic Engineering for Biofuels.

Required minimum qualifications and experience for JRF:
Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences or other relevant field. Experience in handling yeast, bacterial and basic molecular biology techniques is desirable NET qualified candidate will be preferred.
