Advertisement for the selection of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) with valid fellowship
Defence Research & Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior is a premier laboratory under Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO). It is engaged in R&D activities on detection, protection and decontamination of chemical and biological agents. DRDE provides excellent opportunity to young and motivated researchers to pursue a research work in chemical and life sciences.
The core competence of ORDE includes: synthesis, evaluation and process development for toxicants and antidotes: detection and analysis of chemicals at trace levels; development of sensors for chemical and biological agents; toxicity studies and safety evaluation of chemicals in vitro and in vivo; recombinant DNA and hybridoma technology for detection and prophylaxis against infectious agents; development of immunebased detection systems and kits for chemical and biological agents; development of vector management systems; bioremediation of organic waste at low temperature.
Essential qualificatlon:
(i) M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences (Organic/ Physical/ Inorganic/ analytical Chemistry);
(ii) M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Zoology/ Entomology/ Pharmacology/ Toxicology /Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Virology/Bio-informatics). The candidates should have good academic record, an aptitude for
research and valid (up to Sep 2017) CSIR/ ICMR/ UGC/ DBT/ DST fellowships fer the post of JRF to work on ongoing R&D projects of DRDE.Age limit: 28 Years as on 15th Oct 2016. Relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC permitted as per Govt. rule

DRDE, Gwalior invites application from eligible and interested candidates for the selection for JRFs, purely on temporary basis. Applicants are requested to send an ink-signed application, 01 passport size photographs, and self attested copies of mark sheets & fellowship letter to “The Director, DRDE, Jhansi Road, Gwalior- 474002” within 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in news paper.
