Walk-In Interview for Research Assistant on Contract
The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for engaging Research Assistant for the Project entitled “Development and maintenance of Studbooks for selected Endangered Species in Indian Zoos” purely on contractual basis for a period of 03 months. The Essential Qualification, Desirable Qualification and other details of the Research Assistant is as provided below:
Engagement Positions : Research Assistant (one position)
Duration : 3 months
Location of Project site : Dehra Dun as well as Zoos across India
Essential Qualification (EQ) : Master’s degree in Life Science/Environmental Science/Wildlife Science with a minimum of 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification (DQ) : Proficiency in use of computers
Description of work : Maintenance of Centralized Database
Age : Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ and Physically handicapped categories may be relaxed as per the rules.
Emoluments : Rs.12,000/- + HRA per month
Funding Agency : Central Zoo Authority, New Delhi

1. The candidates should report by 0930 hrs for scrutiny of
documents on 29th August 2016 followed by an Interview on the same day. The Institute will not provideaccommodation for candidates appearing for the interview.
2. Candidates should bring the duly filled-in application with attested true copies of
testimonials of educational qualifications along with certificate of extracurricular
activities, date of birth, mark sheets of all examinations etc. All original documents/certificates must be produced at the time of registration for necessary verification.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
